Description

Hong Kong Green Technology Innovation Centre Limited (HKGTi) is found in 2026 by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The HKGTi is established to drive green transformation, innovation, and international cooperation. It leverages flexible resources to commercialise R&D and implement Belt & Road projects. Moving forward, it will focus on four strategic directions: driving applied R&D, expanding international collaboration, cultivating professionals, and supporting green finance. As the executor of the "Green Technology Bridgehead Programme," the HKGTi also offers professional, advisory, and business support to attract green enterprises using Hong Kong as a launchpad, positioning Hong Kong as a pivotal green technology hub. To support our constant endeavour to position Hong Kong as an international hub of green technology and green solutions, we are seeking qualified professionals to fill the following position(s):

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans and strategies for HKGTi’s services. Oversee day-to-day operations covering human resources, finance, administration, information technology, facilities, and programme delivery, while ensuring strict compliance with Hong Kong laws and regulations.
  • Monitor project delivery and quality standards to ensure all outputs meet required timelines and performance benchmarks.
  • Lead and mentor staff teams, driving high performance and accountability through effective people management and professional development.
  • Represent HKGTi externally, articulating the organization’s vision and values to key stakeholders, the media, and the wider community. Build strategic partnerships with international, Mainland, and local counterparts to foster impactful collaborations.
  • Perform public relationship related activities including drafting press releases, manage media enquiries, and proactively build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets.
  • Update the Board and CEO on operational progress, strategic work plans, and budgets by preparing Board agendas, papers, governance policies, and regular management reports.
  • Undertake ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives as assigned

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Public Affairs, or relevant discipline with a minimum of 15 years of related experience, and a minimum of 8 years at a senior management level in public relations, strategic planning or corporate communications
  • Candidates with a postgraduate degree or specialized training in business administration or public affairs will be a plus.
  • Candidates with professional certifications (e.g., Risk Planner, Management Accountant, or Management Consultant) will be prioritized.
  • Experience within government bodies, public sector organizations, or professional institutes preferred.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
  • Characteristics such as strong analytical, presentation, and interpersonal skills, complemented by a mature, professional, and pleasant demeanor will be a plus.

The appointment will be on renewable contract terms with a competitive salary and performance-linked variable pay. Fringe benefits include paid leave, medical, insurance coverage and contribution to MPF. The incumbent will normally work a five-day week.
